Tower equipment test run pressure drop problem

Ask the experts for advice: Our tower equipment is bx700 packing, the packing height is 9 meters, the total tower height is 20 meters, and the system is operated under reduced pressure. Now we are conducting a water trial, distilling deionized water under reduced pressure. The tower top pressure is 20kpa. The tower kettle is controlled at 63 degrees. The tower top temperature is 60 degrees. However, the tower kettle is now 39kpa. I don’t know if the pressure difference of about 20kpa is normal. Please give me some guidance.
The boiling point of water at 20kpa is 59 degrees Celsius
To give you a reference data, Sulzer 250Y structured packing has 4 sections of 26.6 meters in total, and the pressure drop is 16KPA. Maybe the pressure drop of the structured packing is lower than that of your packing. When you purchase packing, the supplier should calculate the pressure drop!
