If the safety valve of a liquid chlorine storage tank activates and chlorine gas is released, where should that chlorine gas be discharged to? Is it to the exhaust gas distribution station, and then to the hydrochloric acid synthesis furnace? In this case, could a sudden increase in exhaust gases have an impact on the hydrochloric acid synthesis furnace? Should I go straight to the exhaust treatment tower? # hcbbs

It should be at the accident chlorine treatment unit. Absorb with an alkaline solution.
Dechlorination accident treatment tower (i.e., decontamination system)
When the safety valve activates, chlorine flows directly to the accident chlorine main pipe and then into the absorption tower; Normal gasification is the dechlorination distribution station.
Sodium hypochlorite should be used; generally, liquid chlorine plants are equipped with sodium hypochlorite systems.
Generally, fluctuations in chlorine pressure when going to the waste gas treatment tower or the synthesis furnace can lead to accidents such as chlorine leaks
Go straight to sodium hypochlorite – no problem!
The dechlorination tower is generally designed in this way: the chlorine that is removed through hydrochloric acid synthesis comes mainly from the chlorine liquefier, the vapor-liquid separator for liquid chlorine, and the gas equilibrium tube of the liquid chlorine storage tank.
Go to the flue gas absorption tower to produce sodium hypochlorite
Go to the waste chlorine absorption tower; since the pressure is very high during the release by the safety valve, entering the chlorine system will affect the system pressure
