In a project I recently worked on, the bidding document required the valve pressure level to be PN63, but after the owner invited the bidder, the winning manufacturer provided me with ANSI 400 valves, which surprised me and I really didn’t understand. According to the design pressure of the pipeline, if you choose a beauty standard, ANSI 300 is actually enough, and in my impression, 400-pound valves are no longer standard products in many factories.
