The liquid level in the gasifier is an important parameter for the operation of Texaco gasifiers. However, during use, the high temperature of the medium and the presence of hydrogen in it make it particularly prone to damage. Discussions have been held with relevant experts; we would like to know about your unit’s usage patterns, the manufacturer used, the duration of operation, any instances of damage, and how technical improvements can be implemented

In the quench chamber of a gasification furnace, there are usually three level transmitters for monitoring the liquid level. In the past, float level gauges were commonly used, but due to the dirty nature of the medium, they tended to get clogged. Later on, flange-mounted level gauges were adopted, which worked well; however, the diaphragms and silicone oil used in such gauges need to be of high quality. Of course, the rinse water still needs to be supplied.
