Is oil in the air compressor related to machine vibration? I’m referring to the situation where there are no problems with either the oil scrapper ring or the piston rod
Based on my work experience, vibration when carrying oil is generally related to the support shims between the pistons! If the support tiles are worn out excessively! It will cause the piston rod to sag! The excessive stress on the lower part of the oil-scraping ring results in a reduced spring effect! The function of the oil scrapper ring also decreases when the vibration is too severe! That’s why it has oil in it! My opinion is for reference only!

As the piston rod moves back and forth, it also moves up and down; therefore, the possibility of vibration causing oil leakage is very low

Reciprocating air compressor cylinders are generally lubricated without oil; therefore, the presence of oil is usually indicative of a fault with the oil scrapper ring, which needs to be replaced. The amount of oil present is small, and it is generally not related to vibration of the compressor body, so other causes need to be investigated.
There is some relationship, but the main issue is with the oil scrapper ring.
