During operation, PIC-216 experiences large fluctuations, which affects PIC-217 as well as the pressure before the hydrogen washing tower. After adjusting the PID parameters, the situation became more stable. Please share your thoughts – is this approach feasible? If other facilities such as pipelines are designed for six electrolyzers, then operation will not be as stable. At this point, the PID can be adjusted to regulate production and make it more stable.
The PI parameters suitable for the hour regulator being inappropriate can lead to unstable pressure control. Generally speaking, it is impossible for the control parameters to achieve good control performance when the system load changes significantly. In addition to setting the parameters, attention must also be paid to the backflow control process of the hydrogen compressor to prevent interference between different components.
The method we use for control now is to shut off the front vent, and reduce the backflow to a minimum – usually by opening 10–20 valve positions. When the rising and falling currents are relatively stable, fluctuations are less likely to occur. Does anyone have a better way to adjust it?
During the driving phase, the hydrogen compressor pressure should be controlled manually. The control of the hydrogen main pipe pressure (hydrogen/chlorine pressure difference) should be automatic. It is better to use manual control for chlorine at this time, as differential pressure control is generally more stable. If it is unstable, modify the PI parameters.
