I would like to ask: In the wastewater treatment process of coking plants, what causes the anaerobic tank to turn white in color? (A set of 3 anaerobic tanks; with the same inlet water, the middle tank is noticeably whiter in color, while the two outer tanks are black.)
It would be better to provide a more detailed description of whether the surface of the pool is white or if the water flowing out is white. Also, please specify the operating parameters such as flow rate and residence time. White coloring on the surface is caused by foam; over time, the color may darken due to factors like sediment. If the water flowing out is white, then a thorough analysis is required
The surface of the pool should turn white; a similar situation has occurred before, and after about 10 days, the color of the pool’s surface will gradually return to its normal state. The inflow flow rate is around 60 m3/h (for one set of anaerobic tanks); the designed parameter is an anaerobic tank retention time of 17.5 hours. I have a question: What is the foam problem?
