The company uses water ring Roots vacuum pumps. Recently, it was noticed that the oil in these Roots pumps turns white even after a short time since its replacement; it is suspected that water from within the water ring pump has been drawn into the Roots pump. This issue occurs only with one unit, while the oil in the other units turns black. If the engines are all supplied by the same manufacturer, why are there different results?
The whitened part is what is commonly referred to as emulsification. That must be caused by water ingress.

It’s probably the water that has emulsified; check if the water pressure is too high
It’s likely that water has entered the oil tank of the vacuum pump; the oil, once emulsified, turns white. Other impurities in the tank mix with the oil, resulting in a black color. Check the equipment as soon as possible and replace the oil tank, otherwise the bearings will get damaged very quickly.
The oil turning white is due to water emulsification, while the oil turning black may be caused by mechanical wear; it is necessary to check this.
The seal is not good, causing a slight leakage from the water ring system into the oil tank.
It’s due to poor sealing; the Roots pump uses a packing seal. Water got in because the check valve of the upstream water ring pump was damaged
