In ammonia synthesis production, to improve the quality of the gas entering the desulfurization, compression, and shift units, coke filters are often installed before these units. Once such filters become clogged, how can they be cleaned online?
It is difficult to clean a coke filter online once it becomes clogged, but regular cleaning before blockage occurs is sufficient.
In general, the gas flow in coke filters is from top to bottom. When manufacturing such equipment, a water spraying device is installed at the upper part of the equipment and connected to the circulating water system; it can be flushed regularly during normal operation.

We use activated carbon filters (3 units) and coke filters (3 units) to purify coke oven gas, primarily to remove naphthalene and phenol from it. The regeneration method is steam blowing! No hot washing was performed; hot washing was carried out only after the filter removal process
