To prevent the desulfurization liquid from flowing back, a check valve can be used, or a liquid seal can be created using pipes

To add it, using a liquid seal won’t work. Several pumps, with very high pressure in the outlet main pipe.
Check valves are generally installed to protect the pump; they provide significant backflow prevention, and in some cases the impellers have even come off

If it’s added, won’t we be concerned about the backup pump check valve getting clogged?
Personally, I think it’s not necessary to include a check valve. The function of a check valve is to prevent the material from flowing back in case the pump stops suddenly, thereby avoiding damage to the impeller and the mechanical seal; it also helps prevent the impeller from rotating in the reverse direction, which could lead to loosening of the connection between the impeller and the shaft. However, the amount of liquid that flows back through the nozzle into the tower from the desulfurization circulation pump is small, so the impact on the pump is not significant; moreover, since the diameter of the check valve is large, it was thought that it wasn’t necessary to install one.
