In pressure switches used for pressure protection in oil and gas pipelines, the switching difference should not exceed 10% of the range. What does \"switching difference\" mean in this context? Could you explain it in detail?
I’m just making a guess: when the pressure rises to a certain level, the pressure switch activates... Let’s assume this value is -----v1. When the pressure drops back to a certain level, the pressure switch returns to its normal on/off state; let’s assume this value is -------v2. If v2 > v1, then the difference in voltage is =v2 - v1... I’m not sure if my guess is correct; please let those who know more confirm it.....
The switching difference refers to the difference between the switch action value and the recovery value. If the switching difference should not exceed 10% of the range, it indicates that higher requirements are placed on the pressure switch used at that position.
I’ve learned about it, but I’d like to give a suggestion: pressure switches often don’t work well; they either trigger randomly or are not sensitive enough. This is especially true after one year of use. Imported products might be slightly better in this regard, as they perform better than ordinary pressure switches.
