Liquefied gas may freeze and condense only when it contains water. There is an automatic dehydration valve at the lowest end of the spherical tank. It is always open and water will come out automatically, so there is no freezing and condensation. The pipeline valve only needs to be kept warm.
What kind of insulation do you use upstairs? What kind of equipment is the automatic dehydration valve? Do you have a picture?
We only insulate pipeline valves. Nowadays, the insulation cotton is usually covered with tin sheets!
The pipes are made of rock wool shells, and the valves are made of ultra-fine cotton and made of iron boxes.
Our company uses the cut water tank dehydration method, that is, a small cut water tank is added under the spherical tank. The cut water tank is additionally equipped with insulation and steam tracing. The cut water tank cuts water regularly, and the steam tracing is turned on in winter. Currently in good use.
Agree with the opinion on the 6th floor, it is best to build a water cutting tank and require the operators to dehydrate regularly.; At the same time, the valves and pipelines connected to the bottom of the spherical tank should be heated and insulated, and have steam shakers so that external heating can be used when local freezing and condensation occurs. However, effective measures must be taken to prevent pipelines or valves from freezing and cracking, causing leakage of liquefied gas. As for the automatic dehydration device, I feel that there is no better quality product yet.
