When putting a metal tube float flow meter into use, great care must be taken to follow the correct sequence for opening the valves. In design, a bypass is usually required: first open the bypass valve, wait for stability, then open the valve behind the main valve, gradually open the valve in front of the meter, and finally close the bypass valve slowly. This is done to prevent the metal float from being damaged by water hammer effects. Two units in our factory have failed, both due to operators not following the operating procedures.
Generally, it only needs to be installed vertically, with the fluid flowing from bottom to top.
The principle remains the same whether there is a signal or not, and the precautions are also the same
