One of the pumps in our company has a seal that leaks frequently. We have tried many solutions, such as changing the seal to an embedded type (so that the seal fluid flows into the pipeline); The sealant fluid flows outside directly after passing through the mechanical seal, but this doesn’t have any noticeable effect. It’s a liquid resulting from the reaction between acetic acid and cobalt carbonate; please help think of a solution.
I would recommend that you contact the manufacturer to have the seal replaced, or to switch to a shielded pump or a magnetic pump – this will completely resolve the problem

Can a packing seal be used, with the pump shaft made of corrosion-resistant material? This would facilitate maintenance and replacement.
Fluorinated magnetic pumps should be able to solve this problem; as long as there are no particles, the materials of the bearings and spindle inside the magnetic pump can be replaced.

What is its position in terms of manufacturing process? What is the current situation regarding leaks? There are many reasons for leaks, but it’s not possible to generalize; each case must be analyzed on its own.
It is estimated that the medium is somewhat corrosive; it is recommended to try using a bellows seal!
