PRoII installation issue: After uninstalling PRoII 8.2, I tried to install PRoII 8.1, but it wouldn’t install no matter what. When I tried to open the file, it was not possible to define the materials. What could be the cause?

The issues that arose after installing version 8.2 are not clear, but I do have some insights regarding the problem of uninstalling version 8.1 and then reinstalling it. It’s necessary to delete all residual files from previous installations, including the installation folders, but Firework does not need to be touched. Another thing is that the installation files need to be copied to the hard drive before installation. I’m not very knowledgeable, so I’m not sure if this will be of any help.
I can try two approaches. First, it might be due to an incomplete uninstallation; it’s best to add and remove the program and then restart the computer. Second, check whether version 8.0 was installed on top of version 7.0 before installing it – give that a try.
