I am an undergraduate student majoring in chemical engineering, and I now want to obtain a CAD certificate. I have taken CAD courses at school, but there are a few things I don’t understand: 1. What level of certificate should I pursue in my case? 2. Regarding the date of the CAD exam in 2010. 3. What is the content of the exam, and how should I prepare for it?
I suggest you not take the exam; it’s pointless aside from costing money. Let’s think about taking the exam again after starting work; whether or not one can find a good job, companies don’t care whether you know how to use CAD or not. Besides, this software isn’t difficult; it takes just a month to master it thoroughly.
It was organized by our school back then; we could take the exam whenever we had time. There were CAD question banks available, so it’s a good idea to use those to practice. But after starting work, it seems like no one cares about having a CAD certificate – as long as you know how to use it, that’s enough
I studied it; I originally wanted to take the exam too. Now it doesn’t seem urgent, so I’ll do something else that’s more meaningful first

That kind of certification has no real value at all; it’s better to practice hard on your own and master the skills, as that will be far more useful than that certificate

It seems like getting a CAD certificate isn’t very useful; what really matters is being able to use it skillfully
