Only the total phosphorus in the circulating water is high, while others such as turbidity, conductivity, orthophosphorus, calcium hardness, and M alkali are normal. This can only mean that too much corrosion and scale inhibitors have been added. Total phosphorus = inorganic phosphorus + organic phosphorus
It should be said that too much medicine was added. As mentioned above, there is no other reason.
Corrosion and scale inhibitors are generally added based on the amount of total phosphorus. The total phosphorus is generally controlled at 5-7. Now it has been around 9. It is certain that no dosage has been added.
There are two factors: 1. It may be that the total phosphorus in the circulating water is high due to the high phosphorus content in the supplementary water. This can be clarified by measuring the quality of the supplementary water. 2. Artificial factors, such as adding too much corrosion and scale inhibitor, causing high total phosphorus, or artificially adding some phosphorus substances such as polyphosphate for pretreatment, are possible.
Too much medicine was added in the early stage, the system circulation volume was too small, or there was no sewage discharge. Increase the circulation volume of the system, run it for 1 day, and then lower it. At this time, measure the organophosphorus. If it is still high, don't worry about it. Just wait until it drops and add medicine to meet the requirements.
If your equipment or pipes contain phosphorus-containing media, check the equipment and pipes to see if there are any problems. If not, then you have added too much potion.
Check several aspects: 1) Is there a change in the phosphorus content of the supplemental water? 2) Is there a phosphorus chemical company nearby to prevent dust containing forest compounds in the atmosphere from entering the system through cooling tower washing? ; 3) Is it possible that phosphorus chemical products are leaking on the process medium side of the system? 4) Just after pre-filming, the thickness of the pre-film is too large (the copper sulfate drop test exceeds 1 minute), which causes the chemicals added during normal operation to gradually peel it off, causing the phosphorus content to increase. 5) Investigate other factors causing the accident.
Now that the antiscalant is no longer added, there is still a large amount of sludge attached to the coupons being monitored. Does this have anything to do with it?
Wait until the total phosphorus drops before adding the medicine.
