How are emergency power supplies arranged in large chemical plants? Some factories may have diesel generators or UPS systems; in some factories, the emergency power supply is 380V. Let’s discuss this
Our factory uses diesel generators, 380 volts
Considering the scale of the factory, if an UPS can handle it, then that’s the best option. It still takes some time to start a diesel engine
Our factory is equipped with dedicated accident transformers, which are connected to a different bus from the normal power supply
It is best for the emergency power to come from different substations; after all, the UPS has a limited capacity.
Our company has both UPS systems and diesel generators; after all, the power supply duration provided by UPS systems is too short, and their power output is also insufficient
Our factory has had to shut down entirely on multiple occasions due to power outages; it would be great if a backup power supply could be installed.
