The wastewater discharged from sewage treatment plants is generally released into rivers. However, the highest quality of wastewater from such plants is grade A, with a COD level of 50. In contrast, the COD standard for class 5 water – which is used for agricultural and landscaping purposes – is 40. This means that diluting river water with wastewater from sewage treatment plants can never bring it up to the minimum standards required for class 5 water If a project stipulates that the water function zone here is classified as category 5 water, can the wastewater discharged from the sewage treatment plant be released into the river?
1# sdqd800 I think it’s possible; the environmental water and soil systems themselves also have the capacity to digest things. Of course, it is difficult when the environmental capacity is already saturated, but the wastewater can be treated in artificial wetlands before being discharged.
If your company does not have any industry-specific or regional standards for wastewater discharge, then the Comprehensive Wastewater Discharge Standards shall be applied. These standards state that 4.1.2: Wastewater discharged into waters classified as Class IV or V under GB 3838, as well as into seas classified as Class III under GB 3097, must comply with the secondary standards. If your company can meet the secondary emission standards, then discharging the waste should be possible.
