I’m looking forward to learning about the factors taken into consideration when using deionized water or fresh water as the feedwater for the gasification deoxidation tank.
It is low-pressure gray water, namely the water discharged from the vaporizer and scrubber after flash treatment. Using desalinated water is too costly; if fresh water is used, then you would need to discharge hundreds of cubic meters of wastewater per hour. It’s already quite difficult to maintain water balance in the graywater treatment section; adding so much more water will really make things unpredictable.
It is mainly driven by considerations of water conservation – reducing the net amount of water entering the system per unit of time, striving for water balance, and making use of condensate and recycled graywater as supplements.
