There are many types of flue gas desulfurization processes; I’m not sure which one you are using? We use the wet process from the American company BELCO, and the discharge liquid is controlled based on its pH value.
It can be determined based on the ORP potential; when the potential changes abruptly, the oxidation reaction comes to an end. As for how much time it takes, it is related to the aeration process conditions and so on.
It must be related to your operating conditions
We generally rely on the slurry density; it is discharged once the set value is reached
Depending on the process, the degree of oxidation of calcium sulfite varies, and the required oxidation time can be determined based on the testing parameters.
