The evaluation of the properties of typical catalytic cracking feedstocks is based on their K value and related indices; in other words, the higher the K value and the lower the related indices, the better the cracking properties. Please share your views on the relationship between the K value and related indices and the yield of light oils in catalytic cracking, especially with regard to gasoline yield
As the characteristic factor k increases, the conversion rate rises. Data shows that for every 0.1 increase in k, the conversion rate rises by 1–1.5%. At the same conversion rate, for every 0.1 increase in k, the gasoline yield increases by 0.6–0.7%.
