How to change layers in CAD

I have a question for everyone: when drawing, I change the layers, but the lines drawn still don’t change. For example, when I change a layer with a thin solid line to one with a thick solid line, the line drawn remains thin. What’s going on here? Is there some problem somewhere?
Check whether the layer’s linear property is layer-dependent.

When drawing, try not to change the line width, color, etc., on the layers that have already been set up. I don’t think that’s a good habit. Set the desired linear shape. Otherwise, it’s easy to get things mixed up. That’s what I do when I draw; but sometimes I’m lazy and make mistakes, so I just select the line and make the correction, haha. However, use the Esc key promptly and frequently. This way, it won’t be messy anymore. That’s probably not a defect; it’s more of an issue related to the way it’s operated*.

Check whether it is set to the current layer; it’s best not to change the attributes of the layer you have already set ! ! Use a command, or simply click to set it as the current layer! !
I never use layers or set line widths; I’m used to working with colors. I assign fixed colors to several commonly used lines, and I’m also accustomed to using fixed colors for the line widths when printing.
