Basis for selection of tube wound heat exchangers

The use of tube-wound heat exchangers can save space and the number of equipment, but under what circumstances is it more economical to use tube-wrap heat exchangers? Is there any basis for selection?
As far as I know, only low-temperature methanol washing uses coiled heat exchangers. There are 6-7 units. I have never encountered them elsewhere. The price of coiled heat exchangers is relatively high, and only Dalian Jinzhong and Zhenhai Refining and Chemical have manufacturing performance in China.
