Normal heat exchangers are considered pressure vessels and should be classified accordingly, but the heat exchanger manufactured by Beijing Yanhua for us is labeled as having no classification. The reason is as follows: there is a gas phase in the shell side, but the operating pressure is less than 0.1 MPa; there is no gas phase in the tube side, hence no classification is required. I’m not sure what the relevant standards are or whether this is correct – where can I find this information? Please help me out!

You basically haven’t said anything; take a good look at the specifications, as there are rules outlined there
Many heat exchangers are not pressure vessels. The dechlorination tower coolers used in the chlor-alkali industry, chlorine coolers, and titanium coolers are all not pressure vessels. Regulations regarding pressure vessels exist, and those that are not pressure vessels fall into no specific category
You can use the provisions in the Standards for Compliance as a guide; if it meets those requirements, then it’s acceptable, otherwise it isn’t
A pressure of less than 0.1 is still very safe; it’s probably not even considered a pressure vessel
It is recommended to remove the ads; there are too many of them, and it’s really annoying.
