What are the main reasons why a plunger pump does not generate pressure after starting?
It might be a leak in the combination valve. Internal leakage in the safety valve, crystallization in the bypass line, insufficient suction volume, low back pressure, etc
It is usually caused by too low an intake pressure; if the viscosity of the fluid being drawn in is too high, it will also not work
1. The inlet pipeline is empty of fluid or blocked! 2. The inlet check valve is stuck, resulting in poor sealing!!
1. Check the suction inlet and filter. 2. Seal any areas where air is leaking. 3. Check the sealing performance of the valve; replace it if necessary. 4. Adjust the packing gland or replace the packing. 5. Adjust the level of the liquid in the suction area
The main problem is with the check valve
To release air, if there is air in the cylinder, the pointer of the pressure gauge won’t rise
