It depends on what kind of vacuum pumping system you have; different devices use different components. The simplest steam-based vacuum pumping system consists of steam pipes and steam injectors. Laboratories generally use vacuum-powered pumps.
The vacuum extraction system at the top of the vacuum distillation tower includes corresponding equipment such as a top condenser, a steam ejector, an intermediate condenser, a rear condenser, and a liquid receiver, along with the associated connection pipelines. The function of a steam ejector is to create a vacuum using steam, the function of a condenser is to condense oil and gas, and the function of a liquid receiver is to collect the liquid that flows down from the atmospheric leg.
