This post was last edited by GSP on 2010-3-12 18:15. The pressure difference at the slag port of our gasifier fluctuates. Maximum 0.102 MPa. Minimum is a negative value. Calculated by subtracting the outlet pressure from the combustion chamber pressure. It was found that it was consistent with the pressure difference at the slag mouth. It's not fake. So why does this happen?
We often encounter this problem. It may be that the air flow at the slag mouth is unstable, or the slag temperature is not enough, the fluidity is poor, and the uniformity is poor.
It may be that the furnace temperature is low or the flame is short, causing the slag at the slag port to be blocked. When the blockage is severe, it will fall off, and then block again slowly and repeatedly.
Are you talking about Texaco's gasifier? What is the reason for the periodic fluctuations in oxygen-to-coal ratio or pressure fluctuations?

Reason one: It may be that the temperature of the gasifier is low, the central oxygen amount is improperly adjusted, and the flame is short. Reason two: The ash melting point of coal slurry is high, the melting point of ash is unstable and fluctuates greatly, and the viscosity-temperature characteristics of ash are poor. Reason three: The amount of oxygen or coal slurry is unstable, especially the coal slurry pump flow rate. It may be that the outlet buffer tank pressure is the same as the pump outlet pressure.
For a coal-water slurry gasifier, is it normal for the pressure difference at the slag port to fluctuate periodically, or is it almost a straight line (with slight fluctuations)?
What about the fluctuation frequency? How much is it usually? 0-0.1mpa is too big, right?
