Dear colleagues in the seafood industry, could you please tell us what the ammonia content required in the ammonia-vaporized wastewater is in your factories? Our factory requires it to be no more than 20mg/L.
Is \"not more than 20 mg/L\" referring to the free ammonia content? That’s an absolutely excellent value! ! ! We ask for 300, and that can usually be achieved. Ask those who set the targets how to achieve them
The target level in our facility is kept below 200mg/L.
This can be determined based on the wastewater treatment capacity; ours is below 450, but in practice it’s always below 200. As a result, steam consumption and energy usage are high. Trying to keep it around 400 to reduce energy consumption. I’m not sure how others handle this. I would appreciate any insights you might have!
If it can be reduced to below 300 mg/L, the subsequent biochemical stability can be ensured. 20mg/L is a bit exaggerated; it’s not practical and difficult to achieve.
The original poster’s metrics are really amazing! Generally, a set of biochemical treatment equipment is added after ammonia evaporation; therefore, it isn’t necessary for this target to be so difficult to achieve, or to be that impressive. A control level of 200 g/L is a good indicator.

Our factory also requires a value below 200; temporarily, a value of 300 is acceptable as well. The 20 mentioned by the original poster… our output value can even reach over 100 in some cases, haha. Could it be that a zero was omitted from the technical specifications? How much can you actually control in your production?
