Terrible interview experience

I work at a small design firm in Shanghai; I’ve been working hard there for four years. Thinking that I had acquired some skills, I went to attend an interview at another company today. Can you select equipment? No! Can you do hydraulic calculations? No! ! What kind of training have you received? No! ! ! The interview process was terrible! ! ! Only then did I realize that a monthly salary of 10,000 isn’t worth anything. It’s too humiliating.
Maybe the original company was small, so there was less training and such; once the shortcomings were identified, they should be addressed promptly

Hydraulic calculation? Model selection? Can’t you just read the book by yourself? The interview isn’t asking you to actually create something for them! As long as you have actually done some work, you must have used this knowledge, right? Take hydraulic calculations for example – this information is available in pipeline manuals, and it’s even included in HVAC design manuals. If the applicant goes for an interview without proper preparation, they definitely won’t succeed!
Your major is listed as craftsmanship – did you graduate from a design institute after four years of study? If you work in process engineering, you should at least know how to do hydraulic calculations and select standard equipment – these are fundamental tasks in this field

Learn from failures and take it slow
Bro, after four years of working on design selection, it should be pretty much done by now; no need for further verification calculations. . . There are examples in the hydraulic calculation tutorials; besides, simple calculations have definitely been done before. What’s most annoying is the training itself. . . There is still some basic software training available for Pro2 Htri FW. . . . . You still need to prepare for the interview. . . Again, a monthly salary of 10,000 yuan after four years seems a bit high in my opinion. . .
One must be determined to keep trying despite repeated failures, and not engage in battles without proper preparation.
What kind of design firm is the one mentioned by the original poster? It’s obviously a fake firm…… It must be just for doing menial tasks in some organization…… Tragic…… It’s clear that they haven’t learned anything at all……
