Hello everyone, I have also been working on projects related to ASPEN PLUS recently, and I’ve encountered some issues with the setup of the MHeatX model. I hope you can help me resolve these problems. Specific parameters: There are 2 input heat streams and 1 input cold stream; the working fluid can be water or steam. Heat Stream 1: Temperature – 145 degrees, Pressure – 0.126 MPa, Flow rate – 19.402 t/h (steam). Heat Stream 2: Temperature – 135.9 degrees, Pressure – 0.321 MPa, Flow rate – 37.839 t/h (saturated water). Cold stream: Temperature – 86.7 degrees, Pressure – 1.78 MPa, Flow rate – 661.957 t/h (saturated water). Requirement: Both heat streams should produce saturated water. These are the specific parameters and requirements. I’m not sure how to configure the MHeatX heat exchanger model in this case. Once these issues are resolved, another requirement will arise: the saturated water output by Heat Streams 1 and 2 should have the same temperature. What adjustments need to be made to the model then? These are my questions. I hope experts on this forum can help resolve them, and I welcome active discussions on this topic as well
In MHeatX, for the Specification settings of the two heat flows, the Vapor Fraction is set to 0; both heat flows produce saturated water
After I made the settings, I got a message saying that \"unspecified must be selected for at least one stream at either the Hot or the Cold side\"; I don’t understand what this message means...
It is necessary to specify the hot and cold streams···
