It's okay, but the final pH value is subject to manual analysis, and the online one is only used for monitoring. If there is stirring in the reactor, it is best not to use it, as it may easily cause damage to the electrode. The better ones include Honeywell, Yokogawa, Durfee, E+H, etc.
Our company uses Honeywell products, which are quite easy to use.
The E+H one is very good, but you must pay attention to the protection of the probe when using it, otherwise it will be easily damaged! If it is installed on the stirrer, it might as well be installed on the circulation line!
If you don't boycott Japanese products, the ones from DKK (DDK) are also pretty good. A common problem is that the glass electrodes are prone to scale.
E+H is good. The online pH meter is very simple. It only has one electrode and requires very little maintenance.
There are too many online pH meters that can be used in tanks, and the installation method can be flange or threaded. There are those with automatic cleaning, and there are also those with manual cleaning (manual control). Electrodes are also diverse, common and for special applications. Yokogawa and DKK are the best at producing this kind of product, but the applications of other companies in industrial processes are much less than these two. The key to whether it is easy to use or not depends on the nature of the solution. If it contains sulfur, ammonia, nitrate ions, etc., any electrode will not last a few days.
