It is a kettle with a pressure of 0.4 Mpa and a temperature of 140 degrees. It has 3 layers of internal coils made of TA2 material in a 57x2 specification; these coils are fixed to the support beams using U-bolts. Is it better to place the support beams on the inside or outside of the coils? The customer said it’s fine on the inside; the coil can expand outward as it gets heated
I personally agree with the user's opinion. The coil is bent, and when heated it tends to generate an outward force.
What the user says makes sense; they are usually placed outside.

It’s usually on the inside. If there is no space inside (such as with a stirrer of larger diameter), it can be placed outside.
The location where the bracket is installed should be determined based on the installation space. If the inner diameter of the coil permits, it is generally placed on the inside, which facilitates installation. Independent of the radial expansion of the coil, the expansion of the coil is in this case limited by the U-bolts.
What our factory produces is also included; it has plenty of space there, and those with mixing devices are excluded
