J507RH is used for welding between 16MnDR plates; what material should be used for welding 16MnDR and Q235-B plates?

For welding 16MnDR to carbon steel, the electrode grade J427 (electrode type E4315) is used
J507RH is used for welding between 16MnDR plates; J507RH welding material should be employed for welding 16MnDR and Q235-B plates.

If you don’t want to re-evaluate, use J507RH
For low-temperature vessels, welding of 16MnDR and Q235-B is generally carried out on the welds between gussets and structural supports; since such welds are not under pressure, J427 is usually sufficient. If it is an internal support component of the equipment, it is recommended that the material be the same as that of the cylinder.
J507RH is used for welding between 16MnDR plates, while for welding 16MnDR and Q235B plates, J427 is sufficient.
According to JB/T4709-2000, page 47, for welding carbon steel and low-temperature low-alloy steel, the grade J427 is used, with the corresponding code being E4315.
I agree with the opinion expressed in point 8 – it’s not necessary for all welds to follow the same rules. For welds that are not under pressure and located in areas that are not particularly hazardous, it’s okay not to apply such strict requirements.
