After the commissioning, the slurry tank in our company failed to operate properly. The problems that arose were as follows: 1. There was severe leakage at the mixer seal; repeated replacements did not solve the issue related to its service life, and water leakage occurred, reaching the reducer and then the motor, which led to the motor being damaged; 2. Insufficient mixing capacity leads to bending of the mixing blades; the slurry in the discharge trough is uneven, resulting in fluctuations in the centrifuge’s load ; This ultimately results in an inability to meet the required standards and production targets, thereby limiting the system from operating at full capacity. I wonder if there are any colleagues in the chlor-alkali and PVC industry who have encountered problems with such equipment – and how were those issues resolved?

If the mechanical seal leaks during testing, it’s likely not damaged; perhaps the O-ring is not in the correct position. We have encountered similar problems before, and after making adjustments the leakage stopped. However, your motor definitely needs to be replaced. As for the issue of \"insufficient mixing capacity, resulting in bending of the mixing blades,\" it could be due to choosing a model with too low capacity; another possibility is that the rotation speed is too high!
