I used to work with instruments in the power industry, and I am not familiar with the design specifications for chemical industry instruments. Please recommend some design specifications for instruments in the chemical industry. For example, “GB50493-2009 Code for Design of Detection and Alarm Systems for Flammable and Toxic Gases in Petrochemical Industries””
Just pick any chemical engineering design manual – there are tons of relevant **standards. This forum has a lot of resources, so learn to make use of the search function
If you are currently working on the design of chemical process instruments, your department surely has a catalog of relevant instrument specifications; ask your colleagues – it definitely exists. These are the specifications required according to ISO9000.
The standards for the chemical industry are currently being revised, and I am one of the contributors to three of these specifications. So you can first take a look at SH’s (Sinopec) standards; they are more up-to-date than those in the chemical industry, and they are also more comprehensive.
