Detailed start-up process of the mill

I don’t know which kind of mill you are asking about, because different mills have different starting methods.

Does the equipment not have individual operating procedures? That's enough

If there are special operating procedures for the mill, the manufacturer will provide them and you will have to compile them yourself.

The process flow describes that after the crushed coal smaller than 10mm from the coal storage and transportation system enters the coal storage hopper (V1001), it is weighed by the coal weighing feeder (W1001) and sent to the mill (M1001). High-concentration additives are manually sent to the additive dissolving tank (V1005) and diluted into a 3% aqueous solution, and then sent to the additive tank (V1004) for storage by the additive dissolving tank pump (P1004). And sent to the mill (M1001) by the additive metering pump (P1002A/B). There is a steam coil at the bottom of the additive tank (V1004) to maintain the additive temperature at 20--30°C in winter to prevent freezing. Methanol wastewater, low-temperature shift condensate, circulating water and gray water are sent to the grinding tank (V1006). Normally, gray water is used to control the liquid level of the grinding tank. When the gray water cannot maintain the level of the grinding tank (V1006), circulating water is used to supplement it. The process water is pressurized by the grinding water pump (P1003A/B) and sent to the mill through the mill water supply valve (FV1005) to control the water volume. Coal, process water and additives are fed into the mill (M1001) together and ground into a qualified coal-water slurry with a certain particle size distribution and a concentration of about 59~62%. The coal-water slurry is filtered through the drum screen (S1001) to remove large particles above 3mm and then overflows into the mill discharge trough (V1003). It is sent to the coal slurry tank (V1101A/B) by the mill discharge trough pump (P1001) through the diverter (V1104). The mill discharge chute (V1003) and the coal slurry chute (V1101A/B) are equipped with agitators (X1001, X1101A/B) to keep the coal slurry in a uniform suspension state. 4.2 Preparation for start-up 1. Before start-up, open the main valve of fresh water, desalted water, circulating water, methanol wastewater, low temperature change condensate and gray water entering the boundary area, introduce it into the boundary area, and send it to the last valve of each water unit for use. 2. Receive low-pressure steam into the corresponding steam-consuming units in the boundary area. 3. Introduce instrument air and compressed air into the boundary area for later use. 4. After passing the analysis, the raw coal is sent to the coal storage hopper V1001 by the coal transportation system and is at the normal material level. 5. The required additives have been prepared in the additive tank V1004 and passed the analysis. 6. Close all regulating valves, open the front and rear manual valves, close the diversion and bypass valves, and keep all other manual valves closed. 7. The mill lubrication system starts and operates normally. 4.3 Supply water to mill M1001 1. The central control resets the mill system 3. The central control manually opens the grinding tank liquid level regulating valve LV1007 and adds circulating water to the grinding tank V1006. When the grinding tank liquid level LICA1007 reaches 60%, it will turn on automatically. 4. Start the grinding water pump P1003 according to the individual operating procedures, manually open the mill water supply valve FV1005 in the central control, adjust the mill water supply flow FICA1005 to 16m3/h and then turn it on automatically. 4.4 Start the additive pump P1002. Start the additive pump P1002 according to the monomer operating procedures to send additives to the mill. Adjust the stroke or add an appropriate amount of additives according to the FIA1004 flow rate. 4.5 Mill start-up When water overflows out of the mill M1001, start the main motor of the mill according to the individual operating procedures. 4.6 Start the coal weighing feeder W1001. Open the coal bunker V1001 gate valve, contact the central control, start the coal weighing feeder W1001 according to the individual operating procedures, manually adjust it to the preset coal amount and then turn on the automatic to feed the coal into the mill. 4.7 Start the mill discharge trough pump P1001 1. When the liquid level LICA1005 of the mill discharge trough V1003 reaches 20%, contact the central control and start the mill discharge trough agitator X1001 according to the individual operating procedures. 2. Open the plunger valve at the bottom of the mill discharge trough V1003 and the ball valve from the outlet of the mill discharge trough pump P1001 to V1104, start the mill discharge trough pump P1001 according to the individual operating procedures, and use LICA1005 to manually control the liquid level of the mill discharge trough V1003 to about 50% before turning on the automatic.

The coal mill should be ventilated and lubricated first, and then opened sequentially from the end to the front.
