Three months after the unit started operation, the differential pressure of the filter in the reduction zone remained between 14-16 KPA. It has been impossible to reach the normal design value of around 4 KPA for UOP. After inspection by the design institute, no errors were found with the filter rods. Gentlemen, I wonder what the consequences of continuing like this for a long time will be. Please help analyze it; thank you so much! ! ! !
The purpose of this filter is to remove the dust contained in the reduced gas; it should be cleaned when the differential pressure becomes high. If the pressure remains high after cleaning, what should be done? That’s the issue of pipeline pressure drop. Furthermore, the temperature of the pipeline carrying the reducing gas to the inlet of the booster must be above 65 degrees to prevent corrosion.
2# Purification. Thank you, buddy; we clean the filter rods once a week here. . But there’s still no obvious change. How about where you are? ? Is the pressure difference high?
Main reasons: 1. The purge gas flow rate in the catalyst separator is low, failing to thoroughly blow away the catalyst powder; 2. The dust collector filter bags are damaged or not installed properly, resulting in poor filtering efficiency ; 3. The regeneration system was not thoroughly purged before it was put into operation. Friend, identify the cause based on the above reasons and take appropriate action.
4# Zhongyuan People Dust Collector: We don’t use filter bags; instead, we use filter rods. We keep cleaning the interior of the device, and the pressure difference issue has not been resolved yet. We plan to replace the filter rods in the reduction zone to see if that helps. .
It has never been higher, nor has it been cleaned. Please note that on the pipeline where the reducing gas exits the reduction section, there is a filter for purification, along with a bypass line. If, when cleaning the filter, you find that the dust particles are quite large, it is possible that the filter has ruptured.
