Operating conditions: salt dissolving tank, at atmospheric pressure, 60°C, 7 meters in height; the lower part contains salt layers while the upper part is filled with saturated brine. It is necessary to measure the height of the salt layers in the lower part. Please help select a suitable transmitter.

The salt layer should be solid, right? There’s a type of ultrasonic level gauge that can be attached to equipment and might work
The salt layer is solid, but it’s not clear whether ultrasonic level gauges can still provide readings in saturated saltwater; in that case, the height measured might actually be the height of the saltwater. It’s just my personal opinion; please feel free to correct me

I think it should be feasible to use a float-type level gauge; one with flange connections, where the rise and fall of the float is used to change the output of the transmitter. The sediment in the floating tank can be removed through regular discharge.
I think using guided-wave radar is the best option, as we use it at Qinghai Salt Lake Group and the results are excellent. They used to use imported radars, but those have now been replaced. As for the imported products, I can’t comment on them, as that would affect their sales.
