A friend wants to build a carbon disulfide plant with an annual capacity of 30,000 tons. Which design institute can handle the design work?
Where to mutter? Almost all design institutes can do it, right?
The design for carbon disulfide production consists of two parts. The first is the design for natural gas purification, which can be carried out by Sichuan Tianyi Design Institute. The second part relates to the synthesis technology – there is Wang Qichao’s low-pressure method available in China, as well as imported technologies such as the high-pressure method for sulfur extraction from natural gas. Finally, there is sulfur recovery, also through imported technologies. Once you acquire the necessary technology, provincial-level design institutes can handle the design work. A standard production line has an annual capacity of 30,000 tons, with the investment required for such a facility being around 80 million yuan
Reply to 4# Sanwei Dake: Can’t it be made just by using sulfur? It’s still a small workshop. Also, how much sulfur can one ton of carbon disulfide consume?
By the late 1980s and early 1990s, Sichuan Provincial Chemical Engineering Design Institute already had a complete set of construction drawings for 32,000 tons of carbon disulfide.
