When performing low-temperature heat exchange simulations using shell-and-tube exchangers, HTRI encounters errors while importing data from PROII; it only considers the absolute value of temperature to determine whether the fluids are hot or cold, which prevents the program from running, whereas it functions properly in PROII! I would like to ask everyone for suggestions on how to overcome this Thank you!
Define the cold and hot fluids in PROII and then try importing them
It seems impossible to define cold and hot fluids when using a strict heat exchanger!
3# zhb310: Simulate using the Simple Heat Exchanger, then import it into HTRI to see how it works. I usually use the Simple Heat Exchanger for simulation first, and then transfer the results to HTRI
How can HTRI make use of the pro2 database? I installed it, but choosing Pro2 doesn’t work
A strict heat exchanger will do! I think there must be other reasons why the original poster did it this way.

Later, no errors were reported anymore; the reason might be that I didn’t run the program after making changes in PROII. Other users who encounter this issue can try running the program first and then importing the data into HTRI! Thank you all for your concern!
