In the internal compression process, how do you deal with the expansion machine tripping? Our factory encountered an emergency tripping of the expander. Due to the timely response of the operator and the quick start of the expander, the gas consumption in the subsequent sections was ensured. However, the temperature difference between the plates was very large, which could easily lead to accidents. Our factory also has a cold night recoil valve. Can cold night recoil really be used to maintain cooling capacity? I heard that Yankuang Cathay once repaired the expander for three days and relied on cold liquid recoil to maintain it for three days. Please give some experience from experienced experts.
It's possible in theory, but I've never seen it in practice.///////////
Which unit are you from? The truth is that it lasted 2 days, not 3!
By adjusting the distribution of each stream in the main heat exchanger, it can be maintained for 40 minutes. At the same time, the load needs to be reduced.
I'm not very good at it, so I came here to learn.* of
This working condition is affected by many factors. If the possibility of using liquid nitrogen or liquid oxygen to maintain production is not considered in the initial design, even if there is a liquid return pipeline, it is only designed to shorten the start-up time. Whether it can meet the cooling capacity required to establish distillation, and whether it can meet the demand for oxygen and nitrogen production at the lowest load of the rear system is also unknown! Even if it is satisfied, long-term operation and the accumulation of hydrocarbons in the main cooling system must be considered. It is recommended that the best solution is to set the liquid oxygen pump in the liquid oxygen storage tank, and use the liquid oxygen vaporization in the storage tank to maintain oxygen supply for a certain period of time (8 to 12 hours) to provide emergency repair time for the main air separation system and reduce the probability of the entire plant shutting down.
Our factory was depressed. After the internal compression expander tripped, the liquid oxygen pump stopped, and basically all subsequent work sections stopped. Personally, I feel that it is better to install an oxygen buffer tank and an accident liquid pump. The buffer tank can supply oxygen during a trip, and the startup of the accident liquid pump can ensure that the subsequent work sections do not stop.
It will only take 20 minutes after the backup is stopped and turned on. Hurry up. In addition, the load will be reduced in the future and the air separation will be adjusted. If there is an emergency, ES will be carried out in time.
We don’t know much about the oxygen consumption situation in steel plants. Oxygen use in coal chemical industry is basically unsustainable as long as the oxygen pump jumps. Theoretically, it is possible to calculate the reaction time or add a buffer tank to switch the backup liquid pump.
