How does a condensate recovery tank convert steam in the condensate into liquid condensate?
I have seen two types: one involves using a heat exchanger to cool the fluid before it enters the condensate tank, while the other type involves flashing the fluid inside the tank; the steam then enters the pipeline network, and the liquid formed as a result of flashing is removed from the bottom of the tank before further cooling.
