How to apply to become a **mechanical engineer in Shijiazhuang? I am an undergraduate graduate from the major of Process Equipment and Control Engineering. I have been working in pressure vessel design for two years now, and I have just obtained my assistant engineer certificate. I want to take the exam to become a mechanical engineer; I’m not sure how difficult it is. I hope those with more experience can give me some advice! ! Thank you! ! !
Applying for the **registered mechanical engineer program is quite complicated; first, you need someone from the Mechanical Engineers Association to recommend you for membership, and only after becoming a member are you eligible to apply. Those who work on pressure vessels generally don’t need to take this exam; obtaining an inspection certificate is sufficient for a lifetime of use.
Mechanical engineers in China are associated with cold processing, while pressure vessel work mostly falls under hot processing. So it’s useless to take the exam; this industry doesn’t recognize it.
