The solid content refers to the proportion of solids in the mixture, while the liquid-solid ratio represents the proportion of liquid to solids in the mixture; the values obtained from these two measurements should be convertible into one another.
As I understand it, the solid content refers to the proportion of insoluble substances in the final product, while the liquid-solid ratio usually denotes the ratio of the amount of liquid to the amount of solid that needs to be added during the production process. That is, the difference in terms used during the production process and the subsequent inspection process.
Is it a volume ratio, or a mass ratio? ? ?

1. Solid content: refers to the amount of solids contained in the additive or slurry. Method for determining solid content: Weigh approximately 2 grams of the sample accurately using an analytical balance and place it in a watch glass. It is then placed in an oven and dried at a temperature of 105°C–108°C for three hours.
