How is the pressure difference in a distillation column adjusted during its operation?
To ensure qualified products, minimize the extraction volume, reduce the evaporation rate, and increase the reflux temperature at the same time.
The pressure difference across the tower is generally closely related to the operating pressure and gas flow rate. If only the operating pressure of the tower is increased, this can be gradually achieved by raising the heating temperature of the tower. If the operating pressure is kept essentially constant while increasing the pressure difference, this can be achieved by increasing the evaporation rate of the reboiler.
How is the pressure difference of the tower adjusted? It mainly depends on the impurity content in the tower products. We generally first reduce the reflux until the product is close to the failure threshold, and then reduce the reboiling. Adjust the return flow rate simultaneously. The pressure difference is just an adjustment parameter.
The pressure difference is generally kept within a certain range; there’s no need to force it. If the pressure difference is high, more product can be extracted or the steam supply can be slightly reduced, and vice versa
The operating pressure for 5# whsp8422 is generally within a certain range, and it can be controlled by adjusting factors such as the cooling capacity at the top of the tower, the heating capacity at the bottom of the tower, the feed rate, and the discharge rate
