When it is necessary to update the logistics data – for example, if the original temperature and pressure values need to be changed to other values – the following situation occurs: HYSYS displays 1--unknown flow rate, 1--unknown pressure, 1--unknown temperature. It also shows 1--not solved. Note that “1” is the code for the logistics parameters. This situation only occurs when this stream is involved in a certain unit operation, such as after a heat exchanger. What’s going on? Thank you.
After entering the new logistics status, try changing the operation status to “hold”, and then try changing it back again
It may be because the flow dynamics are involved in the calculation of unit operations; therefore, it is necessary to consider both the flow dynamics and the unit operations together, from the perspective of degrees of freedom. It should be noted that the HYSYS and PLUS calculation engines are different, with the former allowing for back-calculation.
