I’m preparing to take the exam to become a supervisor. Do you think it’s a good idea to start working in this field right now?

The veterans all told me that it’s a good idea to get a certification as a supervisor and work under the chief supervisor; by spending seven or eight years in this role, one can achieve stability. What do you all think? I’m on the construction side now
Learning is endless; one can learn to be a supervisor now or work in construction. It’s not easy to excel in either field, and the key is to put in effort oneself.
Those working in construction are certainly more exhausted than supervisors, but it’s a great way to develop skills and offers better career prospects. Although supervision is a less demanding job, there isn’t much room for personal growth in it. Personal experience for reference only.
