This post is old now, so I’ll share my views as suggested by the original poster: Compared to the two-layer design, the five-layer clarification tank offers advantages such as a larger clarification area, less floor space required, and reduced use of steel materials, but it is more complex to operate. I think it should have a small footprint, high volume, and good settlement performance
