Static vanadization requires a temperature below the boiling point; therefore, when the heat supply changes, the temperature of the solution changes as well, resulting in significant changes in density and thus variations in the liquid level
This post was last edited by ynabcd2002 on 2010-3-30 at 19:47. 1# When carrying out decarburization and static vanadium treatment, we always make sure that the reboiler is filled with solution, and that the liquid level in the regeneration tower also exceeds the range detected by the level sensors (i.e., it’s at full capacity). The solution temperature is kept stable between 100~105°C; therefore, we didn’t notice the phenomenon mentioned by the original poster!
There won’t be siphoning, right? The conditions for siphoning to occur aren’t met. 1. Is there a problem with the side measurement? Is there a problem with the level gauge? 2. During static vanadization, considering that heat can cause gas and moisture to evaporate, it is necessary to open the carbon dioxide vent valve. I suspect that failure to do so may lead to an increase in the gas partial pressure at the top of the regeneration tower, as well as fluctuations in liquid density, which in turn results in inaccurate liquid levels; this is just my personal opinion
